The database aims be a comprehensive listing of academic references pertaining to water and conflict. If there are references you do not find that should be included, please submit them here.

The focus of our effort has been identifying and including peer-reviewed work, though an increasing number of government assessments and gray literature (theses, conference proceedings, and other institutional reports) are also included.

Abstracts and author-assigned keywords are included in the database where permission has been granted.

Use terms from the list below for more targeted keyword searching. In addition to having entries in our database pre-selected for the topics of water and conflict, we have developed a bibliographic thesaurus and assigned subject and regional keywords to each entry. Searching from the list returns more complete reference lists.
